海外ゲーム情報メディア Eurogamer.net の記事によると、「ポケモン サン・ムーン」のマイナーチェンジ版として「ポケモン スターズ（コードネーム Pokémon Stars）」が、2017年3月に任天堂から発売される新ハード「Nintendo Switch」向けに開発されているという。
